Shipping Protection

Introducing CIP1's Shipping Protection: Your Shield Against Delivery Mishaps!

Safeguard your orders with our Shipping Protection option. Enjoy added assurance and peace of mind knowing that your shipment is covered against unexpected delivery hiccups.

Lost Packages:

If you selected and paid for Shipping Protection on your order, packages stuck in transit, lost at the hub or mis-delivered are covered. If you believe your package is lost, please contact us at customerservice@cip1.com or call in at 1-800-313-3811 with your order number. One of our team members will investigate the issue for you and if your package is determined to be lost, we will process your claim and issue you a replacement order. If we are not able to issue you a complete replacement order, such as if one or more of the items you originally purchased are no longer in stock, you will receive a partial or full refund of the order. Lost package claims need to be reported no earlier than 7 days and no later than 20 days from the last scan update.

 

Shipping Damage:

If you selected and paid for Shipping Protection on your order, packages damaged in shipping are covered. Shipping damage is defined as damage that prevents the item(s) from functioning properly. Before opening the box(es) please take photos of all sides of the box(es.) Please take photos of the outside of the box(es), even if you do not see any damage on the exterior of the package(s). Once you have opened the packages, please note any damage to the items themselves. Sometimes a package can be damaged but the items inside remain unharmed. If this is the case, a Shipping Damage claim is not necessary. However, if any of the items inside the package are damaged, please take detailed photos of each item, documenting the damage sustained. Then send the photos, along with your order number and part numbers affected, to us at customerservice@cip1.com. All packaging materials including shipping boxes, paper, bubble wrap, etc as well as the item(s) themselves, must be retained until the claim has been fully resolved. One of our team members will investigate the issue for you and may ask you for more information, once your claim has been investigated on our end and deemed shipping damage, we will process your claim and issue you a replacement order. If we are not able to issue you a complete replacement order, such as if one or more of the items you originally purchased are no longer in stock, you will receive a partial or full refund of the order. Shipping damage claims need to be reported no later than 7 days from the delivery date. Please note that any items sold as “Scratch and Dent” or advertised on our website to have known damage, are not covered under Shipping Protection and are sold as is.

 

Note: Shipping damage must be reported, and a resolution reached before installing the product. In the case of wheels, wheels cannot be mounted or have tires installed on them, prior to the claim being approved. Installing product before a resolution is reached voids the possibility of your guaranteed delivery case being approved.

 

Stolen Packages:

If you selected and paid for Shipping Protection on your order, packages stolen from your delivery location are often covered. If you believe your package is stolen, please contact us at customerservice@cip1.com or call in at 1-800-313-3811 with your order number. One of our team members will investigate the issue for you and if your package is deemed stolen, we will process your claim and issue you a replacement order. If we are not able to issue you a complete replacement order, such as if one or more of the items you originally purchased are no longer in stock, you will receive a partial or full refund of the order. Stolen package claims need to be reported no later than 7 days from the delivery date; items over $100 in value require proof of a police report being filed.

Note: if you have a signature release on file with the courier or have a sign or note at your location that caused the courier to leave the package(s) without a signature, we will not be able to process a claim for Stolen Packages. Agreeing to the release of the product without a signature, voids the possibility of your guaranteed delivery case being approved.

 

General Terms of Shipping Protection:

If your claim is approved, CIP will either replace the damaged or missing item(s) or credit you for the damaged or missing item(s) at our discretion.

Shipping Protection is only available on the original sales order where it was purchased and does not cover any subsequent replacement orders.

Shipping Protection is only available to the Lower 48 States and the Canadian Provinces. We do not offer Shipping Protection to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Canadian Territories or Internationally.
