Minimum order total We have a US $25.00 minimum for orders. Your order must total at least US $25.00 before any taxes or shipping before it can be placed on our online store.
Responsibility of Customer It is the responsibility of the customer to open all packages received from California Import Parts Ltd within 72 hours of receipt. It is the responsibility of the customer to check the parts for accuracy, missing items, or for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. If the order is inaccurate, or missing items, the customer is responsible contacting California Import parts with this information. If damage to an item is noted, the customer is responsible for taking pictures of the damaged part, as well as the box and any packing material included, and then contacting California Import parts with this information. If deemed our error, California Import Parts will either replace the damaged or missing part or credit the customer for the damaged or missing part at their discretion.
Shipping rates Our website offers several shipping options and calculates the exact shipping cost for each order based on the weight. This rate is calculated on the ZIP code, State or Country contained in your shipping address. This rate is always correct for all ground orders. Air shipments are 99.9% correct, but if your order contains many OVERSIZED or HEAVY items such as Bumpers, Fenders, large sheet metal or heavy engine parts, we may need to adjust the shipping prices. We will not ship any order which needs a shipping cost adjustment WITHOUT contacting the customer for confirmation first. We do reserve the right to CANCEL any order and return the customers payment if we cannot come to an agreement on extra shipping costs.
Overseas/International customers Overseas/International customers may be required to provide CIP with extra fraud protection information prior to the order shipping. Please note that the card will be charged and funds held till the additional fraud protection information has been received. Rest assured that CIP ships most international orders without requiring this extra fraud protection information. CIP is always improving fraud protection software for not only CIP safety, but for your safety as well, so all customers feel comfortable ordering at www.cip1.com.

Warranty Disclaimer Most stock replacement parts sold by California Import Parts Ltd / cip1.com are warranted against defects for 6 months. Cip1.com will replace free of charge or credit your account at our discretion. You must call our returns Manager to verify warranty return eligibility, if eligible, the returns manager will issue a warranty return authorization number ( WRA ). Customer must bear the cost of shipping on any return regardless of the problem. Send item(s) shipping prepaid with the WRA clearly displayed on the outside of your box. Failure to do so may result in your return being refused. California Import Parts Ltd / cip1.com cannot be held responsible for third party expenses, such as installation charges, storage, towing, lodging, etc. NO warranty or return on Electrical, Carburetors, Books, specially ordered, custom hi-performance parts, Installed or altered parts. Any freight paid on the original order is not eligible for reimbursement on any Warranty item for any reason.
Please inspect items for defects BEFORE installation
Electrical Parts* CIP1 will not be responsible for any warranties on electrical items- No returns on electrical items. If CIP1 makes an exception to this rule, the customer MUST pre-pay the product either back to us for in-house testing or back to manufacturer for testing. This must have a CIP1 issued RA number prior to shipping back .
Damaged Items In order to process claims on items received damaged, Cip1.com requires pictures of the original box and packaging and for the customer to retain said packing until the claims process has been completed. The damage MUST be reported within 7 business days of delivery. Cip1.com reserves the right to REFUSE a damage claim if pictures of the original box and packaging can not be provided by the customer.
Limitation of Liability California Import Parts LTD. shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products. CIP1 is not a manufacturer of parts / wheels, only a distributor of parts manufactured for Vintage Auto.
Typographical Errors In the event that a www2.cip1.com product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, www2.cip1.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. www2.cip1.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, www2.cip1.com shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
