Description
We recommend that you also buy the VDO-226-451 -VDO FUEL TANK SENDER INSTALLATION KIT W/ FLANGE / GASKET & HARDWARE . Custom installation is required with the universal fuel tank sending unit. Three of the five mounting holes will need to be slotted. This sender only works with VDO fuel gauges designed for the universal sender.
Must be used with one of the following gauges:
VDO-301-015 Black cockpit gauge
VDO-301-216 White cockpit gauge
VDO-301-733 Royale cockpit series
Resistance:
180-8 Ohms
Float can be installed to read:
-Empty at 180 Ohms & full at 8 Ohms
or
-Empty at 8 Ohms & full at 180 Ohms
