Volkswagen upgraded the 6-volt power circuit by replacing the 35Amp 90mm generator with a more robust 105mm 50Amp generator before transitioning to 12-Volts. Due to the discontinuation of the 50Amp 6-volt regulators by Bosch and other brands. Since the success of our elecrtronic 6-volt 35Amp regulators, we have now created the 50Amp version.
While the 6-volt 35Amp regulator is designed to mount directly on top of the 90mm generator, the 6-volt 50Amp regulators are intended to be mounted on the firewall or under the back seat, depending on your VW car model and along with Porsche 356 models.
Our new 50Amp regulator incorporates the same electronic technology as our 6-volt 35Amp regulator, and our regulator caps are fully interchangeable with the original Bosch cap, ensuring a perfect and authentic appearance.
